Elevenmile Canyon is known for its superb dry fly fishing. The Trico hatch is one of many that anglers should concentrate their efforts on.

Clarity: Exellent

Water Temperature: Low to mid 40’s

Hatches: Midges

14 Day Forecast: Look for sporadic hatches of midges. The best fishing is between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Fishing is extremely technical with the low flows.

Tips and Other Information: Fishing is tough in Elevenmile Canyon with the low flows. Anglers should prepare themselves for some sporadic hatches of midges.  Die-hard dry fly anglers are finding middling fish in the slower pools and tailouts.
