Tips and Other Information: Cheesman Reservoir is currently 99% full. Denver Water is gonna attempt to achieve a “physical fill” in preparation of using the storage to supply the city of Denver and senior water right holders with their downstream demand for the remainder of the summer-season. The feeders creeks continue to add an additional 30 cfs of water, but they are shrinking fast due to the lack of rain. Anglers should prepare themselves for reliable hatches of midges, Tricos, pale morning duns, and caddis. The best fishing is in the morning before the water temperature gets too warm. Please keep and eye on the water temperatures and stop fishing once they hit 65 degrees.
