Both wet and dry fly hackle, meant for use on larger flies or for tailing fibers. The Coq de Leon feather is one of the best natural dry fly tailing feathers available, but it also has bustard-like mottling which is perfect for wet fly tying and legging on nymphs. Whiting Farms is the only breeder of Coq de Leon with original bird stock from the Leon district of Spain. Whiting Coq de Leon rooster capes are excellent for medium to large dry flies and wet flies and are a great value for the contemporary fly tyer.

 

Like typical capes, expect a wider arrange of sizes on each cape. A must have for tying Euro style flies!
