Fishing Report: Bear Creek

Clarity: Excellent

Hatches: Midges and Blue Wing Olives

Major Food Organisms: Midges and Blue Wing Olives

Conditions:  River is open and fishing decent right now but the flows are low so target deeper pools and runs.  Fish are feeding on midges, Blue Wing Olive and small dark colored stoneflies under the surface.  In the late afternoon, you may find a few fish rising in the slower sections targeting BWO dries.  Euro nymphing has been extremely productive with darker colored jig nymphs with silver beads.
