Major Food Organisms: attractor patterns

Conditions:  Fishing a dry/dropper the transitional zones and pocket water with attractor dries with a caddis or stonefly dropper will work well. Some Caddis surface activity in the afternoon will produce a few fish in the transitional zones

Suggested Patterns: #14 and #16 Caddis Dries, Large attractor patterns like Amy’s Ants’ and Chubby Chernobyls, Dark colored jig nymphs, Barr’s Graphic Caddis

Major Food Organisms: Caddis

Conditions: With the low flows, dry fly fishing has been outstanding in the morning and afternoon

Suggested Patterns: Chubby Chernobyls in size 10 and 12, Prince Nymphs in a 14 or 16, Copper John’s (copper and lime), any jig nymphs in sizes 14 and 16, Elk Hair Caddis in 14 or 16, Clown Shoe Caddis in a 14, Barr’s Graphic Caddis #14 and 16, Jigged Caddis #14 and 16 and jigged Hare’s Ear #14 and 16
