Belize is famous for permit. Fish can be found across nearby flats, sometimes in impressive schools, with opportunities ranging from small fish to true trophies.
Tarpon
Resident tarpon are present year-round, including fish over 100 pounds, creating the possibility of a truly memorable eat and fight.
El Pescador Lodge

January 30Fly to Belize City, then connect on a 15-minute regional flight to San Pedro. Lodge staff meets the group for the approximately 15-minute boat transfer to El Pescador.
Fishing WeekFive full days of guided flats fishing, with two anglers per boat.
February 6Depart the lodge and begin the return trip home.

Beyond the Flats
More Than a Fishing Trip.
Ambergris Caye also provides access to one of the Caribbean’s richest marine environments. On non-fishing time, guests can snorkel Hol Chan Marine Reserve or Shark Ray Alley, dive nearby reef sites, kayak, paddleboard or simply relax at the lodge.
Optional inland adventures can include Mayan ruins, jungle rivers and caves, making El Pescador a strong destination for anglers traveling with family or companions who may want additional activities.
