Alaskan Sportsman Lodge - 5 Days and 5 Nights
Arriving at Sportsman's Lodge in the heart of the Alaskan wilderness is one of the best experiences on the planet. Located on the banks of the Kvichak river, there's world-class fly fishing right outside your cabin. Or, hop on a float plane and delve deeper into Katmai National Park. Here, snow-fed streams feed one of the world's richest salmon fisheries and Alaska's only "Trophy Rainbow Trout" area. The expert team of professionals at Alaska Sportman's Lodge will get you geared up for the chilly waters of the Alaskan tundra and help your target a variety of species including rainbow trout, silver salmon, dolly varden, char, and more. The main emphasis of the trip is to target large rainbow trout. Fish upwards of 30 inches are not uncommon on the Nak Nek and Kvichak River.
After a day on the water, the Alaska Sportsman's Lodge offers a streamside happy hour, a cozy main lodge where horsdoeuvres and dinner is served, and warm guest cabins with private bathrooms. Rooms are double occupancy so its best to bring a fishing buddy or a spouse. Singles are welcome, but you will be paired up with another person to fish with and share a cabin. All meals and beverages (soft drinks, beer, and wine) are included. The lodge even provides an airline-approved box in which to bring back your silver salmon if you choose to do so.

TRAVEL DETAILS AND PRICING
Anglers on this trip should plan on flying into Anchorage on September 17th. The group will overnight in Anchorage at the Lake Front Hotel (not included in price). On September 18, the group will take a chartered flight to Alaska Sportsman’s Lodge. This charter flight is included in the price.
The group will depart the lodge on the evening of September 23rd after fishing that day.
