Geneva Scarano
Fly Fishing Guide
Background
Geneva Scarano was born and raised in Evergreen, Colorado. Her love for the outdoors began at a very early age. Her fondest childhood memories were fishing beaver ponds and streams around the Colorado Rockies.
In the early 1990’s, her family purchased the historic Platte River Cabins, in Pine, Colorado. It was there, on the North Fork of the South Platte, that her father introduced her to the true beauty of fly fishing and her true passion was born.
After graduating from Conifer High School, Geneva pursued her other passion, helping others. She obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and has worked as an RN at a local urgent care and family medicine clinic in Evergreen for over 20 years.
Geneva loves the beautiful places, the amazing humans and the tranquility that her fly-fishing journey has taken her on. One of her greatest joys in life is sharing her passion of fly fishing with others. She is incredibly honored to be part of The Blue Quill Angler and work alongside the best humans and anglers in the industry.
Geneva lives in Bailey, Colorado with her husband and three daughters. When she’s not in the river you can find her behind her vice, tying up bugs or in her garden.
