Fishing Report - Deckers

Nymphing remains our go-to tactic, leading with an egg or worm trailed by a couple small baetis or midge patterns will do you well! Midges and BWOs are the 2 main hatches happening right now. Midges will come off in the morning with the BWOs in the afternoon. Look for risers in back eddies, seams and slow runs. You have to keep your dry flies small, think size 22-24. Brown trout are spawning along the south platte, please watch your step when wading to avoid stepping on redds and NEVER fish to fish sitting on redds!
