Proven best for my go-to stonefly nymph

My go-to point fly for euro-nymphing is a version of TJ Hooker tied in either size 10 or 12 on the U555 hook. As I look back at my fishing log, this fly accounts for some 50% or more of my landed trout. I mash the barb and still lose very few that take this fly. I also like the way a slotted tungsten bead barely interferes with the gape on this hook.

Superb jig hooks at a fantastic price! The hook size is about two sizes bigger than normal, but the size is consistent with the sizing for other jig hooks that I have used, e.g., Mustad J60.

I like the hooks with one exception, the size; they seem to be at least two sizes larger then the stated size.
