The natural fiber of a Coq de Leon rooster is ideal for tailing on dry flies and is excellent for making nymph tails. The balance, performance and aesthetics of a quality dry fly is optimized by resilient, glossy, natural tailing fibers. These feathers come from Coq-de-Leon roosters, and are meant to tie tails for both dry flies and nymphs. The naturally speckled, long glossy fibers also make them ideal for Euro and Perdigon style flies.
